50 Years of Ministry!

We are delighted to announce that many out-of-town friends and a greater number of local ministers and friends are attending at 10 am on May 31st. What a great time of celebration and fellowship we will share!

The Sunday morning service at 10 am on May 31st is no cost at all. Come and enjoy the celebration - we would love to see you! If attending from out of town, you will incur travel costs appropriate to your preferences.

We have closed our "group room block" at this time. However, if you want to know where we are staying or need us to offer other recommendations, please contact us!

It is our recommendation that you fly into the Colorado Springs airport (COS), if possible. It is only about 15-20 minutes from the church and most hotels. However, if this is not your desire, you might fly into the Denver Airport (DEN). Just know that travel will be an hour and a half or more depending on traffic. Sometimes the drive can be a bit stressful due to road work and "annoying" drivers. :)

While the celebration is on Sunday, May 31st, some may want to come early or stay later for sight-seeing, additional fellowship opportunities, and/or other vacation activities as part of their trip.  We encourage it! Feel free to let us know if you plan to extend your visit and we'll try to offer some fun suggestions!

While we all have many fond memories to recall, some of us have tangible memorabilia (pictures, videos, mementos, etc.). If you want to share digital photos, video clips of Pastor Charles ministering, want to record your testimonial, or write an original poem/prose specific for the occasion, please let us know!

Aww! We will miss seeing you! But we totally understand. It is our hope to record the special morning service and make it available for viewing after the fact. If we are successful, updates will be communicated on this page in June 2026. 

From an event perspective, we do not ask for nor expect gifts or donations. We are just excited for your participation and joy-filled attendance!

However, many longtime friends and family have asked if they can give toward the celebration costs and/or to Pastor Charles directly.  Yes, you may donate via this website, by mail to 7788 Chasewood Loop, Colorado Springs, CO 80908 (ATTN: 50 Years), or in-person with a card or present during the celebration service on May 31st. We will have a "Gift Card" drop-off. Pastor would love to keep your card and warm sentiments as his love language is "Words of Affirmation."
